1. Introduction
Maarif Digital Marketing Agency (“Maarif”, “we”, “us”) operates this website to explain our services and receive enquiries. This policy describes how we handle personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We are based in New Delhi, Delhi, India.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide (name, email, phone, company, message, website URL, budget band, timeline, and consent) and limited technical data such as pages visited, approximate device type, and security logs. We do not invent extra categories of data.
3. Forms
Contact and SEO-audit forms send your details to our inbox (maarifsiddique4@gmail.com) and store a copy so we can follow up. Newsletter signup is not offered on this version of the site. We do not sell form data.
5. Purpose and lawful basis
We use personal data to respond to enquiries, deliver services you request, secure the site, and — with consent — measure traffic. Under the DPDP Act 2023 we rely on consent for forms and analytics, and on legitimate operational need to keep the site secure. We do not claim GDPR certification. If EU traffic becomes material we will add a dedicated section.
6. Processors
Depending on what is live, we may use Vercel (hosting), Google Firebase (authentication and database for staff tools and lead storage), Resend (transactional email), Cloudinary (optional media), and Google (Search Console; GA4 only after consent). We list only processors we actually use.
7. Retention
Lead and audit records are kept for 24 months, then deleted or anonymised unless a longer period is required for an active project or legal claim.
8. Security
We use HTTPS, access-controlled admin tools, and least-privilege server credentials. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; please do not send passwords or payment card numbers through public forms.
9. Your rights
You may request access, correction, or erasure of personal data we hold, or withdraw consent for analytics, by emailing maarifsiddique4@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable period required by applicable law.
10. International transfers
Some processors (for example Vercel or Firebase) may process data outside India. We choose established providers and limit what we send to what the feature needs.
11. Children
This website is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
12. Updates
We may update this policy as the product or law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page will change when we do.
